Speed: The moving roof travels at a speed of approximately 0.1 m/s.
Watertightness: This mechanism must be fitted in an area of the boat where rebates have been provided to accommodate it. This installation ensures watertightness (but not airtightness).
Drive type: The sliding roof is driven by a pulley and belt system.
Safety: This system is fitted with a movement reversal safety feature which is activated when unexpected forces are exerted on the sliding roof. This safety feature can be adjusted using a potentiometer on the electronic control unit (it can be deactivated). A buzzer also alerts the boat’s occupants that the retractable roof is in motion (this buzzer can be deactivated).
