This system allows a swim ladder to be deployed electrically.
Guidance: The ladder is guided by two plastic runners that slide within the polyester housing.
The top rung of the ladder is hinged at these two brackets.
The ladder is tilted by two plastic rails fixed to the polyester housing. Lateral movement is stopped by stops fixed to the ends of the rails.
Training: The ladder is moved by a 12 VDC electric motor located outside the waterproof polyester housing. This motor drives a sprocket and chain assembly which moves the ladder. Limit switches stop the ladder in the retracted and extended positions.
Order: The control buttons are remote-controlled and positioned as required on site. However, they must be positioned so that the ladder is visible whilst it is being operated. The user must keep the control button pressed down throughout the entire movement.
